J.R. Rodriguez is a nursing student who lives in a suburb of Boston, Massachusetts. He originally hails from woods and bogs of Louisiana. Writing has been in his blood since the tender age of 13, when his first-ever story was hated by the teacher but loved by his classmates. He knew then and there that the written word had power and meaning beyond anything he had ever encountered. Being a life-long horror and science fiction fan only deepened his desire to create more of the genre he loved. Now, reaching out and touching others with a beloved craft is one of the greatest gifts he knows to give back.
In addition to nursing, J.R. Rodriguez has also studied anthropology, philosophy, psychology and has a B.A. in political science. Other interests include photography, film editing, art, science, and growing carnivorous plants. Fantastic Horror is his first writing credit outside local newspapers and magazines. He is honored to be among some of the best writers he has known. |
